HCT.media was founded by Matt Glass and Jordan Wayne Long in 2013. Jordan Long & Matt Glass made a name for themselves in the documentary world before moving over to fiction. Their fiction work has led them to work with The Jim Henson Company, Paramount as well as 2nd Unit Directing Karen Gillian’s (of Guardians of the Galaxy fame) BAFTA-nominated film “The Party is Just Beginning." Their feature directorial debut “Squirrel” premiered and began its festival run in 2018. In 2019, they produced and shot “12 Hour Shift” with writer/director Brea Grant which premiered at Tribeca Film Festival in 2020. Their current film “Ghosts of the Ozarks” was released February 3rd of 2022.
Jordan Wayne Long

Jordan Wayne Long is a filmmaker, performance and video artist originally from Bald Knob, Arkansas. He graduated with his MFA from Cranbrook Academy of Art in 2011. His work deals with an individual’s relationship to trauma/human condition. He's lectured at the several institutions including the museum school (Boston, MA), Performance Space (London, UK), C.O.P.S. (Portland, Or), New Mexico State University, The University of Arkansas, UCLA's CARPA (Los Angeles, CA), KIPVS (Vlissingn, Netherlands) and others.
Matt Glass
Director/Cinematographer/Composer
Matt Glass is a filmmaker and composer raised in Clinton, Utah. Matt began to study art and photography in his early 20s, hoping that once he could master single-frame storytelling, he could move on to moving pictures. His cinematic, tableau photography has been featured in magazines such as American Photo and Popular Photography, and he had gallery shows all over the United States. He incorporated music into his photography by writing songs for specific images. He eventually received a Masters of Fine Arts degree in Photography in 2012 where he finally began applying all these skills to filmmaking.
Tara Perry
Producer / Actress
Tara Perry recently wrapped a six year run on the Emmy Award winning Nickelodeon series “The Fresh Beat Band.” A graduate of the Groundlings, iO West, and UCB program’s, Tara started using her skills from the Groundlings Writers Lab to begin writing feature films and television pilots which got her into the finals of the coveted Slamdance screenwriting competition.
